Hi everybody, I have parented a sword to the left hand of my model and spent some time folding fingers of the right hand round the sword handle. My question is can I lock both hands to the sword so that I can pose the figure without losing the grip of the sword?
Any help will be much appreciated.

My best Tabian

In which application? In DAZ Studio, no - in Poser, yes if you use Inverse Kinematics for the arms (off by default, turn on through the Figure menu).

In Daz Studio yes you can just think outside the box. Create a Null, position it so it is inside the Handle of the sword at about the center of the Right hand. Now Parent the Null to the Sword, then Parent the Right hand to the Null. The null will move with the sword the Right hand will move with the null. This is a quick way of doing it but More Nulls would work better.

No, the sword can follow your paretend node move, but about left hand,, you may need to adjust about each pozing.
one node can be parent of many node,, but can only have one parent,.
I have not found the way.

but,, there is scirpt which may help you by mCasual, so may you try it? (thanks much mCasual:))
