The "value" category?

So, from what I can tell, the "value" category are just PC items or freebies that are now increased in PC price, sale price for non pc members, and called a value?

Why did the pc items go up in price?

I kind of feel like that category is a bit insulting, frankly. What gives?? Or is this the value only for non pc members? I can't figure Daz out anymore.
