V5/M5 Poses just for V5/M5 or all?

I was looking in the shop and saw various pose sets labeled or titled for V5 or M5 (like http://www.daz3d.com/long-sword-poses-for-m5-now-with-deathblows)

I thought v5 and M5 were Genesis figures, and that something for Genesis was good regardless of the model? If this is so, then why is the package labeled "for M5"? Would this work with say, Freak? or Victoria?

They should work fine with any Genesis figure, but they're optimized for the M5or V5 shape. If you use them on a different shaped, sized, or proportioned Genesis figure, you'll likely need to make adjustments to the pose to account for those differences. This is true of stock Genesis poses too.

What Tramp said, and how well it works depends on how different the figures are and if they're meant to interact with anything.

For instance, I have both the M5 and V5 Subtle Poses sets, and I sometimes use them interchangeably. These are free-standing or wall-leaning. They need no adjustment except occasionally with the fingers. Using them on Freak 5 or Mavka would need more adjustment because the scale of those two is so radically different from the base.
