Strange rigging Issue

Hi, I've got a problem with a rig I've created. Its difficult to descibe but when I move a bone the child bone moves but the underlying geometry associated with it stays behind. Once the rotation has completed the geometry snaps back into place.
Anyone have any ideas?

A few items do that - if you want to see what is happening as you pose try opening the Draw Settings pane, if it isn't, and set Manipulation Bindng to Full (instead of Optimised).
