Excessive Genesis Load Times

Why would it take 2 to 4 minutes to load ANY Genesis3 Female figure and/or up to 2 minutes to load a Genesis3 Male figure into a blank scene?

My PC is by no means a slouch.....not sure why they take soooo long to load even the simple base figures????

    Did they always load this slow for you or is this a new thing? Is DAZ Studio and the content folder on an SSD?

    Everything else loads at a reasonable speed and is on the same drive....even Runtimes on external drives load normally....Genesis3 Female version takes forever to load. She has been loading slow for some time, not something new.

    I've had this problem for ages. I have a brand new R7 1800X system with content folder and DAZ install on SSD. It's slow as mud. Takes over a minute to load a G3F figure. I don't have a whole lot of G3M stuff so that load somewhat faster. Also, I've been told the base figure actually takes longer to load than other characters. That makes no sense to me, but that's what I was told. I also had a ticket for this and the DAZ people looking at the ticket told me stuff like "it's because it's on an external drive" (it wasn't), that I needed to re-install (it's a new system and I did re-install, didn't change anything) or some other excuse. Really frustrating.

    Does the character's skin use LIE (Layered Image Editor)? So it is normal.
    Some of the Growing Up and Chase characters have that option (i. e. Brows).
    And it is a different kind of geometry compared to G1 and G2.

    Nope. Happens with any and all GEN3F characters and base figure......

    It's the base G3F figure or any other figure based on that. No LIE (lol, no pun).
