Iray Light Manager Pro

Dumb question...

Just purchased Light Manager, started it up, and tried to zero out the emissive surfaces in my scene. Those surfaces are checked at the bottom, and I tried setting "Scene Lights Power" to 0 and Color to black. I then click the "x" to close the window (there's apparently no "apply" button?), and the changes to my lights don't seem to take effect. Or maybe there is an "apply" button and I'm just not seeing it?

Thanks.

    Okay, getting closer...

Turns out the scene has an hdr that I didn't know about, so I knocked that to 0 and that got rid of most of the lighting. There's also a lot of emissive lights, but still I can't seem to control them. It looks from the render llike the only light providing illumination is the camera headlamp, but I knocked that to 0 and nothing changed. And I don't seem to see the effects of the emissives...

    Hmm.....

Okay, I think I solved it...

I totally misjudged the contribution of the inside emissive lights in this purchased scene, relative to the contribution of the outside hdr. Apparently 90% of the Iray light was coming from the hdr, thru the windows, and the included emissives (ceiling lights and mirror lights) weren't providing much illumination at all at their stock setting.

So the changes were probably taking effect, but the light levels were so low to start that the difference was undetectable.

    Cool. I love this plugin.
