Aspirant restored.
I do not believe that the non-commercial offering of Mari is actually a limited-time freebie strictly speaking, Robert. The Foundry did this with Nuke some time ago, and it is still available. They have even suggested that they might consider similar offerings of their other software as well in the future (how awesome would that be!). Anyway, apologies Kerya, for commenting in your thread (but Kulay and Richard started it!).
Thanks for the link!
As we are commenting anyway:
How will The Foundry’s non-commercial software be licensed?
Non-commercial licenses will be available as node-locked licenses only, granted on a rolling 30-day free subscription basis.
What exactly is a rolling 30-day free subscription license?
This license works on a free subscription to maximise access to your non-commercial license. On first run, sign up using your The Foundry log-in details, then every day you start the software, we'll renew the license for the next 30 days (assuming you're connected to the Internet). This means you'll always be able to use our non-commercial software products for 30 days from your last Internet-connected session.
Why do I need to be connected to the Internet to run The Foundry’s non-commercial software?
Licenses for non-commercial software are linked to your personal The Foundry account under a centralised product "entitlement", and can only be issued by our website. In order to get a license, the non-commercial product needs to communicate with our website to authorise the device; the website then creates a temporary node-locked license for that machine which the non-commercial product then installs. This method of licensing offers you far greater flexibility than ever before. You can run it on multiple devices consecutively, rather than being locked to just one, and you can manage your entitlement allocations from The Foundry’s website.

New BiWeekly freebies are up on the freebie page: http://www.daz3d.com/freebies
I wonder if they intended the $2,500 Commercial Game Developer License to go up as a Freebie. It's listed on the page but not showing discounted on its own page..... but it goes into the cart correclty with a $2,500 discount :O
I think they fixed it :)
Wow you lucky dog.
#1 you can't use that license unless your game company makes over 100k per year and #2, I think it's been removed from those of use who were quick on the draw and got it before they fixed it. (It's not in my product library here, nor does it show as purchased)
Yeah. I don't particularly need or want it and fully expect it to be removed from my account. Curiosity is a wonderful thing though ;)
Exact reason I threw it in my cart... just to see. It would be nice to someday make that much to need it though LOL
I think that's actually normal behaviour for the game developer licenses.
The one I paid for does not show up in my product library either, nor does it show up as purchased. Yet I paid for it, so it has to be real.
I also think that is the case. It never showed up as purchased or in my product list even before it was pulled from the freebies. But that does leave the question as to whether or not it is valid. DAZ has been good about not recalling or canceling other products that were purchased during store gliches.
I just checked it, It shows up in your Order history, and in your Order Confirmation email.
to check your Order History you have to click on your little person thats at the top right of this page.
(make sure your wife or husband or other half is not around when you look at your order history, unless you WANT to have an argument ;)

Thanks Kerya for the great find!
For those of you who haven't, probably not a bad idea to pick up Dusk for free at the same time while you still have a chance (no longer free after June 30): Dusk
Thanks so much for this freebie Sky!!!!
I've never bought a Hivewire product before so I was a bit confused as to why it wasn't working. I finally figured out this isn't the figure but a morph set. lol I guess you have to buy the baby Luna figure to make it work. /doh lol I feel dumb now.
Oh well, maybe the baby will be free someday too. lol :)
Dusk Charactor is free till the end of June though Diva
Does it work on Daz?
yup there is a DAZ version and a Poser version ,you chose which one you want to download
Thank you!
Lol don't feel too bad - I didn't realize that either!
