Object Physical Dimensions & Locations

Dumb question for the day...
How do I determine the actual physical dimensions and locations of objects in my scene? If I want dimensions I create a plane (where you can specify dimensions in feet) and compare its size the the object I'm measuring. And I still haven't figured how to determine locations in the scene.
I'm sure there's an easier way, but I've looked all over and can't find it. All the "Parameters" values are in percent.
Thanks.

The scales are in percent, translations are in cm, rotations are in degrees. If you want diect readout of size and position you can use https://www.daz3d.com/measure-metrics-for-daz-studio , along with the Align pane to make sure you are measuring to and from the correct location.
I create a cube with size of 1 metre. Than scale it up and down as needed. This way 200% = 2 m, 300% = 3m, and so on. Basically 1% = 1 cm. You can also scale any of the XYZ axes indipendently and the math still works.
For added simplicity you can turn down opacity a bit on the cube, so you know what's inside and when you're measuring right.
The Measure Metrics proposed by Richard is a way more professional tool, but it will also require more mouse clicks to operate.
Here is a free, quick, and easy script to get object measurements in Daz Studio. It was created by Widdershins Studio, a Daz 3D PA. The measurements output by the script are in centimeters.
Thanks. The issue I'm specifically trying to address is surrounding a new package I purchased called "Create a Room", where you need to arrange and align the components such as walls, doors, windows, etc. Which means you need to have all the components on the same global grid, and enter exact locations so everything lines up.
I *think* the problem is that sometimes the XYZ coordinates of different objects get confused between Local and Global axes, so I can't enter the identical coordinate in, say, the X translation values for both because that won't necessarily line them up. And the secondary issue is that the translation values are in cm, which drives me nuts because I'm a feet kinda guy. Nobody thinks of ceiling heights in terms of cm, it's always 10 feet or whatever.
So it's not as much a size measurement as a location measurement that I'm trying to figure out.
Thanks.
Have you looked at the Tool Settings pane whey you can select the coordinate type (global, local, screen, etc.) for the translation tool or universal too? Maybe an orthographic view along with screen coordinates would work for you.
Also try using the Align pane - the last item selected is the anchor relative to which the other items are aligned.
Ahhhh !!! Align !!! My favorite pane and it never occurred to me to use it like that. I always use it to move objects to another objects' location.
Thanks. And the Tool Settings pane escaped me. I'll give it a shot.
You guys are great.
