Hello everybody :)
I get a lot of content from places other than the D|S store and most of them lack metadata and such (not really an expert of these things). In the end, you can't find them with a DB search and they don't appear in the Smart Content pane. You have to perform a file search, which takes a lot of time (large library + D|S not leveraging Windows indexing = twiddle your thumbs while waiting). You also have to remember the exact filename since folder names are ignored.
I'd like the Content Library pane to behave like the Smart Content one, where subcategories are shown if you select the parent category. In other words, I'd like the whole G3F clothes display when I click on the ...\Genesis 3 Female\Clothing DB folder. I'd rather skim through a long list of items than clicking on each subfolder to remember what's inside. Is this possible?
If not, is there a simple/fast way to categorize items in broad categories that can be viewed at once?
Thanks!

You can quickly categorise an item, folder, or hierarchy by right-clicking on it in the Daz studio Formats or Poser Formats list. You can make it Smart by dragging it into the Smart Content pane with the base item loaded and selected.
