My question is would you buy this not saying I am selling it but if so how much would you be willing to pay? I made this the other day or finished it up at least and I am quite fond of it. It came out really well so well that I honestly feel like it could be worthy of making bank. I suck at self-judging hence why I am here well one reason the other is this is the only 3D community that talks to me. lol. Not even kidding you. I ask at other places just walk right by, ask on groups on facebook same thing. It isn't like there are real life places for me to ask. Not sure if the images will upload but here goes nothing. Two failed I can accept that.

(I am already very alone in the world much less with 3D. No friends, no partner etc, though I do have a kid. So talking to anyone with this subject professionally is impossible in real life. Plus the state I live in oy vey.)

Hi, just saw this. You're waaaay far ahead of anything I could ever model, first of all. I would say that so far as selling it, to be honest you may want to look at fine tuning how things meet up with each other, like in the third one, the flat red plane running parallel to the stairs- doesn't seem 3D/thick, and I'm not sure what it is. In the second one, that middle red octagonal type thing doesn't seem very polished- more like just a primitive. Hope that makes sense? The two things on the left of it, with the silver bases and the handles, seem more intricate, so that red thing looks out of place to me.

So to me, there needs to be more integration of the same level of difficulty on that instrument panel, and honestly, there's so many sci-fi warehouses with floors/walls that the market is a bit saturated on those. I do like your ceiling, from what I see.  Ask yourself, what am I offering that others haven't?   Hope this helps?

Hey welcome to the forums!  We will talk to you lol.  It too late here for me to give an honest opinion other than you are far ahead of me as far as modelling goes as well.  And, there are several very good threads here that involve modelling, very very friendly people and always open for discussion on any type of modelling including critiques, advice, tips and techniques.  I will try to post some links for you tomorrow but if I forget, head over to the Carrara section of the forums (doesn't matter what you modelled it with, they discuss far more than Carrara in the modelling threads.)

Welcome to the forum.  I am not a Daz seller, so take anything I say with a grain of salt.  However, I do enjoy modeling for my own use, and I follow some of the product creation and freebie threads - even started one.  I'd say you are off to a good start and would encourage you to keep at it if you have the time and the inclination.

As far as constructive criticism, I would say that some of your edges look too sharp.  You would probably be expected to soften some of the edges with beveling.  Have a few more suggestions for details and shaders, but the main point is that you are off to a good start, but would be expected to improve as well.  No real news there, and really just a matter of patience and perseverence.  There are a variety of modeling threads in the forums.  You are most welcome in the Carrara forum, as Ice Dragon Art says, but there are also other threads.  In the meantime, keep posting in your own thread.  People who know a lot more than me will offer you even better suggestions.

Here is an example of a modeling thread.
