Star Wars?

You know it will be cool if some one made Star Wars Models like the x wing, tie fighter, the death star perhaps. And perhaps storm troopers and jedi models too.

You can find most of those for free on sharecg or vanisgingpoint.biz.  Not everything, but most.

Yeah, copyright issues, sadly. However, it's possible to make just enough tiny alterations that it can pass for original. Petipet's Cylon Raider-like craft is an example of doing that.

Personally, if I had the knowledge and ability to do so, I'd simply try to combine different components of famous ships from different properties. Some people have made some wonderful fantasy aircraft by combining A-10s and Apaches and stuf together. No reason someone couldn't do likewise by welding stuff like X-Wings, Starfuries and Gunstars together.
