Content manager problems

Hi everyone
I am having some problems with the Content manager ..it keeps stopping and I loose out all the Smart Content ..I restart it but it drops out again as soon as i click on an item in the scene ....now it wont show when I open the program...can anyone work out whats going on please ...thanks ..

    Here are a couple of things that might help. If you've made custom categories don't delete the database files yet, but if you only have the metadata that came with the products you can reimport it if need be,

    1) Search for multiple copies of the databases -- there may be an extra set under ProgramData. If so, stop the CMS, delete the database files in ProgramData, then restart the CMS.

    2) If you've updated DS since you first installed it and didn't manually uninstall the CMS, you can uninstall it and then reinstall DS to get a current CMS. CMS isn't automatically uninstalled when you update DS.

    3) Once you do get it running again, I've heard it can help avoid problems if you mark all content as seen frequently.

    Content manager is now working all content is on the right hand side but still not in Smart content .it says no selection even though i have Genesis selected...... it also says to see content i have to clear keyword filter i don't know what that is or where it is ..its empty her is screen shot.

    Is anything showing in Content Library under "Products" or "Categories"?

    only shapings shows up...all files show up on right side..just not in smart content

    Does it show the default categories under Categories (even if they are empty)?

    I have the same Problem.

    Only the Rescan of all Items in the Database worked so far.
    After the Scan the Items show up under the categories (Products)

    Sorry, cant give at the Moment the exact Description (not home at the moment).
    I think it was a right click on Content Lib. - > xxx Maintenance
