Michael 5 Render-Problem (Fatal Error)

Hello,

yesterday i installed the Michael 5 for Genesis and after installing content i usualy try out if it works.

First i loaded michael 5, than i changed the face texture to a face with beard and aply the Bump for Close-Up.
After that i would try to render only the face of michael (close-up). But everytime i tryed this there was an error at 98% rendering, and the studio hangs up and did close.

In the log there was an error with the relight. unfortunatly im not at home tu tell you more infos, i will try to render that with Reality2 and LuxRender in the evening. i dont think that my grafic is the problem, my Notebook is an Acer G51J Republic of Gamer. Win 7 Home, all new installed.

Anyone who had/have the same issues?

    The exact errors would be great, also list of other objects, skins etc used and a screenshot if the render settings.
    Also, did you check memory during the render?

    Hello,

    i have the logfile but i can't upload this.

    I have no other objects in the scene, only michael is loaded, no lights no cameras, i just want to render an preview of his face, no settings at this time.
    Rendersettings "Out of the box" on step3 or step4, both the same problem.

    Should i shrink the logfile and post it here? Which part did you need? Also i have the errorlog.xml.

    I unfortunately can't remember the error that appears in the messagebox directly after the crash and i can try it out earliest this evening.

    PS: There are some errors and warnings inside the logfile:

    Looks like you have several errors in your file, but post the last 30 lines or so. I know for experience that you can get weird crashes in rendering when something else is bad.

    Can I ask a serious question? Why are you using a 32-bit version of Windows on a 64-bit machine? This won't cause the error by itself, but one thing you really need to realise is that the 32-bit version isn't able to make good use of the memory like the 64-bit version can. You really need to think about changing that as a mere 32-bits isn't making the best use of your system.

    I strongly advise upgrading to the 64-bit version of Daz Studio and retrying. It will save a lot of problems in the long run.

    hello,

    why do i use the 32bit version of Daz Studio? ok i will try to explain why: Because the 64bit version did not have all the plugins that the 32bit version have for free (integrated). For example the LipSync is only available for the 32bit version, and in case i would do an animation i can use lipsync and must not buy the Mimic(Live/Pro) Plugin for lots of money although I can have it for free (lipsync). Ok it is not that powerfull like Mimic, but for me it will be enough. ;-).

    If Mimic would be half that price it is now i would think about it to buy it.

    ok, an idea, can i install both versions of daz studio? that i have the 32bit and the 64bit version on the same hardware? if so, than i would try it with the 64bit version and map my content to both versions, and if i want to make an animation with lipsync so i can switch to the 32bit version ;-) ?

    Never tried, but it should be possible. I've heard people in the past doing it for similar reasons. You can easily export the animation from 32-bit into 64-bit after it's created to solve any issues. I've yet to find a lip sync program which works with Genesis, so it's not something I get into much. Either way the 64-bit version will probably have an easier time of rendering complex scenes than your current 32-bit one.

    Ok, i will try to install both Versions and have a look if it works.
    I do not only work with genesis so i will keep lipsync up.

    The rendersettings were not touched by me at this time, so the settings are "out of the box". But i will post a screenshot this evening, although of the error itself, but im not at home now.
