Rendering problem, white skin with no texture on figures

Hello! :D

I'm having a problem rendering with 3delight. When I render many figures in the image appear with white skin, as if they had no texture. I looked for information about the problem and found this:

"Most likely this is the issue with a corrupt AoA SSS Shader file in the temp folder - on Windows go to C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\Studio4\Tempt\Shaders\Brickyard and delete the contents, that will force DS to rebuild the file next time you render."

I went to the Brickyard file but it was empty, this problem had happened before and I had deleted the files in that folder some days ago, but that didn't solve the problem. I solved it by loading the character once again and deleting the characters with the problem... But it happened again, and I think it will continue to happen. What can I do to solve this with out having to load the character again?

If they arer using AoA shaders I woudl save the scene, quit DS, restarts DS and reload the scene (which shoudl clean out the DS temp directory),  You could also try deleting all the .3dl files in the directory without doing the cycle of DS.  Also ensure that all the figures use different Group IDs in the Surfaces tab.

When this happens to me, I reload the scene (without even having to reload Daz Studio itself), and it fixes the issue most of the times. When it doesn't fix it, I reload the scene again.

You can also delete the "Brickyard" folder from temp, Studio will rebuild it on the next render attempt, this way you don't have to exit Studio.

  • Thank you for this!! I couldn't figure out WHAT was wrong.
