    Hi Pegacon :)

The galleries are off line right now, ever since the switch over to the new web store.
It's one of the tasks on a "to do" list,. but there are other, perhaps more important things to be fixed in the new store before the galleries,.
but, .. the galleries will be back eventually

The Carrara Cafe has some galleries of Carrara specific artwork. I really should use it more.

Yeah. That's a great place and we really should start frequenting it more often. I'm gonna head there now and have a look around. I love that place - just been busy lately - but that's a numb-headed excuse. I'll put it as another tab to come up when my browser opens. Just as a reminder to keep up with the Carrara times :coolhmm:

Agree. This forum isn't as good as DAZ's old forum and carraracafe is worse. You would think a professional company would want a forum that looks, well, professional. Holly's site looks pro, stone mason's site looks pro, Daz's forum looks like something your average punter put together in their basement.

I've thought this ever since it went live. The old forum was solid, had a wonderful backlog of articles (at least you can still find them on google) and characters.

Is it impossible to go back? Just admit it was a mistake and go back to something that worked well?

I work in web marketing, you soon find out what works and what doesn't. The smart move is to leave your ego behind and go with what works best.

The old forum was a mess of spaghetti like code held together with duct tape and chewing gum. It was only a matter of time before it collapsed completely.

The old forums are stored, in read only format, here http://forumarchive.daz3d.com/index.php

ah ok - I hadn't appreciated the database issues or other technical reasons why we had to move on. I stand corrected.

    Oh well onwards and upwards!

I was going to find a picture of Buzz Light Year, but I was lazy.
