Calling all Hexagon Masters, Help needed with making Chain Hook(s)

I’m having trouble modeling with what appears to be a simple object a Grab Hook (see Picture attached) but I haven’t figured out how to do it because of the shapes I know the sides are NOT flat.

I’m hoping someone can guide me on how to make it, so in the near future I can make several different style hooks based on the same design idea.

Thanks,

    Ciao.

    Sorry for English.

    Dipende dal livello di dettaglio.

    Esempio molto molto semplice:

    1

    Cerchio

    2

    Extrude line and point

    3

    Thickness

    4

    Smoothing

    5

    Ritocco

  • I did not know how thick the hook was. So I guessed.

I just did some basic box modeling. Then smoothed.

Shawnndricoll_34affb248a, Thank you for posting the pictures, I was just looking for the concept of modeling the hook because I'll be modeling several different styles of the hooks. However I'm really glad that you posted the with 3 hooks, because I was wondering if I done something wrong, I had a Hook Similar to the Far Left & ended up with a hook Similar to the Far Right after smoothing to level 4.

Also I want to thank you m_m_italy for your help to getting me started.

I’ll post a picture of my hooks when I have more time.
