Genesis 8 / Victoria 8 PowerPose problem and V8 skin problem

First the powerpose problem

There is a video on youtube and in that there are so many more dots for the face which do not shop up for me.

I am running the latest Daz Studio version.

The Vicotoria 8 skin is very strange in that the lips show VERY bright no matter what makeup I am using and just the standard DS light.

Petra

(corrected title as it seems you meant powerpose, not poserpose)

They put so many bones in the face to make the expressions more adjustable than any other figure.

Well, the problem is, when I open powerPose I only see a few points to use, in the youtube video it showed a lot.

There is a download file called Genesis 8 Female PowerPose Templates, in that zip is the same as for the Genesis 8 Female Starter Essentials.

I must be doing something wrong or missing something.

Also the textures for the V8 lips is way to bright and I use only the default lights for DS right now to test it.

There is a powerpose update this morning in Dim that fixed the dots problem.

  • I purchased Genesis 8 and had to find out.
The Power Pose does not work as in advertising. I feel a bit ashamed.

    THANK YOU.

I am not big on using DIM but think I should get used to it.

    Man, I missed that.

    Thank you so much.

Edit: is that PowerPose Genesis 8 Female Templates, as I do not see any other PowerPose to install.

The original package was wrong - it has now been updated, but if you installed everything with DIM you may also need tio unisntall and reinstall the Genesis 8 Starter Essentials

No problem at all, glad I could help you with my question reg. PowerPose.

I figured the lips out, the setting for the dffuse weight is set to 1, that is way to high, so I set it to o4 and that does the trick.

So what about the issue with Powerpose?  I don't have all the extra dots either.  I only have the few that the others have.  I saw a video on the home page for the store and it showed the powerpose having a ton of dots, so how do we get those??

I don't understand what genesis essentials has to do with powerpose.

I don't use DIM, I only install manually, so I have no way to uninstall anything.  Are you saying I have to delete all the essentials stuff and reinstall to get powerpose to work?  I'm confused.

Since I don't ever use DIM, I don't know the name of the file to download, or even how to set filters to make it look for whatever it is I'm supposed to download.  Help please...

Download and manually install the Genesis 8 Female PowerPose Templates in your Genesis 8 Starter Essentials in your Product Library

I am not big on using DIM either, I still believe in manuall installing to see where what goes before I install it. But DIM is a very good thing as I found out today when this powerpose did not work.

You can just redownload the Genese 8 Female PoserPose Templates and install it manually again as you would with your other files. It will overwrite * I believe * what  you have iinstalled right now.

I think I shall use DIM more often now as it really came in handy today with this.

At least you can use powerpose.  On my Macs, it crashes Studio now (worked fine before update).

Just out of curiosity, is there a Powerpose template for the Genesis 3 Male and Female?
