Still looking for this hair... many many years later

I put in a request for this with every new generation. I've been looking for it since V5. No dice from V5, V6, V7 ...here's to hoping someone takes pity on me for V8.

This swept-back-from-the-bangs hairstyle is a classic and makes women look powerful. Great for execs and superheroes. But no one loves me and no one has ever made it. I'll just slink off to the corner here and cry.

I've seen a lot of modern, retro, classic, ancient, fantasy, scifi, and mythological hair styles on the Daz Store.  The gamut has been covered, so I am surprised you haven't found anything that closely resembles what you're looking for.

With over 1900 hair items in the Daz library, I'm seeing some fairly close hairstyles, but not with the exact 'Beverly Crusher' look.

There are fairly close ones from Goldtassel, AprilYSH, and SWAM, as well as a few others that are still actively producing hairstyles for Daz.  It might not hurt to reach out to one them and see if they might be interested in doing something along the lines of 'Beverly Crusher Hair' or 'Wonder Woman era' Linda Carter hair.

Do keep in mind that this is an older hairstyle, and we don't see the 'feathered' look as much these days, so they might not see a big market for the hairstyle, or maybe they will.  Who knows, maybe they are looking for some inspiration for a new hair project.  Can't hurt to ask!

Hehe yeah I own them. My library from daz is monolithic. They just arent the right style tho. Hopefully someone will poke thru the suggestions for inspiration. This style is long overdue.

Those look like two completely different hairstyles to me in the initial post, but...

try Frovida for the Beverly Crusher 80s hair.

Melite over at rendo, from the same makers, *might* work for the Wonder Woman hair.

BTW, don't judge either hair by the slightly toony promo art. The base textures from these makers usually hold up okay in Iray, and the hairs are well-modelled enough to take Iray hair shader product well.

So, you're looking for shoulder length hair, swept back from the temples with no parting or bangs, where the lower part of the hair has been curled but the top is straight.

I've checked the 410 hairs in my collection but came up empty - you're right it seems like an odd omission.

The closest I have is probably Marisandra Hair though it has a slight parting.
