Can't get DIM to download/install to my Win64 system (edit: not available it seems)

I am really confused.  If I go to DIM download page under my products, pressing the green button - download and install nothing happens.  I have then downloaded the manual version but notice it's for Win32 systems only.  Is this maybe the reason why I can't get to download DIM via green button?  Where can I find the Win64 version of DIM, if it's available?

I have never used DIM before but since I have messed up to download and install G8 manually I have decided to try DIM instead.

Thank you for your help.

EDIT:  Have read now under DIM's new release page someone commented DIM is not working under Win64 systems currently. sad

@Fishtales, thank you for letting me know. smiley  I guess I will have to download the manual version since nothing happens when clicking on the direct download/install button in my products page.

There isn't a 64 bit version of DIM,  it doesn't need to be 64 bit

32 bit programs will install to a 64 bit OS.

Does your Windows userid have admin privileges or not? I use a non-admin userid most of the time (to limit the damage the internet might bring to me by making auto-installs harder) and I've found I need to be on an admin userid to install DIM successfully - this is on a PC with Windows 7 (64-bit OS). So when a new DIM version comes out I always download manually from Product Library, log off, sign on as the Admin userid, install it, log off and go back to my normal userid. Works for me.

  • I was having trouble downloading it last night on my PC, so I downloaded it on my smartphone and copied the installer over to the PC and got it installed that way.
