EVE OF DESTRUCTION

Hi
I dont quite know how to hold my head up right now. I had to re install my OS and although i had everything backed up onto an external hard drive i cant find it. I have spent a week turning my home upside down in an attempt to find it, no luck. Maybe that i was in some things my partner donated to the recycling last week.
So i am faced with a real problem. I have re installed DS4.5 pro, thats not a problem of course. The problem is the content. I can see no other way than to reset everything i have obtained from DS over the past couple of years and download them all again.
Unless anyone can suggest a way to circumvent this tedious process.
Anyone have any ideas please. Possibly i should mention that i am using a Mac running Mountain Lion.

That is what the DIM (DAZ Install Manager) is for. It will give you a list of everything you have ever boight, download and install it, all in a few hours.

There is a very large thread on this subject in the Commons, but download the DIM, install it, and come back here and post any queries you have. There is a help page and several help videos for it on Youtube for both Mac and Windows users.

If you go into "My Account" and click the link for "My Downloadable Products" (as if you were going to download them the old way), you should see a link to the DAZ Install Manager near the top of the screen. Or here's a direct link: http://www.daz3d.com/install-manager-info/

Some documentation can be found here: http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/install_manager/start

Just remember the DIM is going to install everything into your PUBLIC documents by default. You may want to change that. Nice thing about DIM is that it will also uninstall too in case you want to change things around.

The other thing you should do, is use the filter on your list of items. Click on the little gear icon on the top right of the interface to see them.

I am only downloading for DS4.5 as shown below. I meant for you to come back to the forum before you started installing, but it should be OK anyway, you can always fix it, or do it again for that matter.
