A-ha! So I am not the only trouble maker around here I see, Sertorial! You and your Duplicate IDs and me and my Duplicate IDs.... why, we can both rule the world with them! It's a plot.... all of you say there is no danger but we both know better muahahahahaha *nudges Sertorial* don't we?! We will take down all of your expressions and your little Mike too!
Seriously though.... now I know why Genesis is dinging errors at me left and right! I was getting them on loading the female in too but didnt ask about it. Sertorial, thank you for linking this where I asked about it because this will save me a lot of questions & problems.

Duplicate Formulas and Duplicate IDs are actually different issues, though the fix in both cases is to update the content that's causing the problem (morph sets for Duplicate Formulas, props and figures mainly for Duplicate IDs).
Ok... call me stupid....BUT... I am confussled. I get the reason for the pop ups that the two of us are getting and I also understand that in order to fix it we need to uninstall and reinstall the problematic items or in the case of clothing, we have the option to try Diabolical Richard's Awesome Sauce ID Fixer Upper Zap-O-Matic (please take no offense, Richard, I am just a silly heart). My first question will veer from the subject but I ask it because I am trying to re-download my Genesis items & can't.
Where I am getting confused is with the changes made in 4.5, which some I like and others tick me right off (yeah, had to get that in there-don't ask, I won't tell) & the release of 4.5, which I just got within the past week-ish (been on a 7 month art hiatus) I now have this Genesis Essentials thing to re-download after spending tons of money buying up Genesis add-ons in a sale after Christmas 2011, and my Shapes, & all of that good stuff so why is all of my stuff not showing up in my Download Manager because since I paid money for it, I want to download THAT, not what comes for free with D|S or is there some way to tell this *stupid* thing to show every single buy I have ever made no matter what & to reset every single one of them? (because it's NOT showing all of my sales and has NOT since i got it)
More related to the topic, would it behoove us to reinstall all of our Gen 5 bases, characters that were required to be installed in the same directory as them & ones that had to be installed in the same one as Genesis? I am noticing that this doesn't seem to be a requirement with 4.5 like it was with 4.0, so am I making a mistake putting items like Raw's Triclops in an external library or is it a must to go into the D|S library with Genesis to avoid being right back in this very problem?
Sorry for the novel but it does raise a lot of questions & before I go into attempting to fix what few problems I am having, I want to make sure I am not going to cause bigger ones.
Pretty well everything for Genesis should be showing in the Install Manger list, as available for download, when you are logged in. It won't, unfortunately, show stuff you have already installed as there's no reliable way of figuring that out - let alone which updates you have or lack - without a huge file list to build and download (every version of every file in every DAZ product that ever was - and even then there'd be ambiguities I fear). You could try clicking the gear icon at top-right to get preferences and making sure you have DAZ Studio 4.5 checked under Downloads.
Yes, DS will allow you to have morphs and such installed in multiple folders (that DS has been told to use as content directories), you don't have to have everything in a single place.
