I have the latest Daz Studio installed and I must say, I am not to happy with it.

So much noise in renders even on high render settigns and the lights that looked fantastic in the previous version of Daz Studio now look different.

When Rendering G3F the skins are kind of dull too.

Is the new studio made for G8 and her shaders?

What has changed , why so much noise , is there a setting somewhere that I am not aware off that should be used?

do you mean "restore factory defaults"?
    ---
and does that apply to the interface settings or all settings..
    ---
and I'm having similar issues but don't see anything on this page to address them.
    ---
attached are two sets of old and new...
the top car was done in 494 .. the old one was probaby in 3delight
    ---
the buildings though ... the top one was done in 4920... and I'd given up because I figured there just weren't enought pixels in the light poles to smooth the light
and yet the bottom one was done last night in 494 ...  the city scene is the same duf file...  rendered at the same size 2700x900
    ---
only differences are the version of daz and the card was changed from at 980 ti to a ti 1050..
but in order to use the new card I had to update studio because the render engine with 492 didn't recogize the card.
    ---
no settings for rendering have been changed from defaults
    ---
when I saw the car render I wanted to go back to 492 and then I saw the building render and don't know what to think.

i wrote about restore factory default in "INTERFACE"

you can also check the render setting if Gamma is ON or OFF
with gamma ON 2.2 he give light where no lights,,, like "contrast"
also in render it depend if you render via "perpective wiew" or "Camera"

on camera setting you can also check lights setting if 'AUTO'

I do not think that this will help, I do not want to default my interface.

It is the lights that are the issue, they look different now from how they looked in the previous DS version.

G8 looks good but anything else does not when I used my prefered light sets.

P.S I changed the title of the thread from * behaving * to * look *

I can not show comparison images as I only have the new DS on my PC.
