Question Regarding Clothes/Shoes Autofit G3F

Hello,

On several occasions I have had the need to adjust/move my characters hands, toes, etc. after autofitting an item to her. Example would be after adding a pair of sandals, I want to be able to move the toes freely without the shoe conforming/moving. If I unfit the shoes they move way off the character.

Is there a way around this?

Thanks In Advance!

Anthony

You would need to edit the weight maps to stop the toe bones from influencing the shoes.

At the most basic, select the toe bone you want to lose, switch to the Node Weight Paint Brush tool, click on the only currently assigned map in the Tool Settinsg pane, right-click in the viewport and (as I recall) Weight Editing>Clear map. You will also need to to do that for any child bones of the bones you wish to remove - the influnce you remove by clearing the map should flow up the hierarchy, to the foot bone, so the shoe wills till bend with the foot but not with the toes.

I will give it a run.
