Menu disappeared

When i try menu item edit/object the rest of the pull-down menu has vanished and I only see "change"parent".

It just happened and i can not figure out how to restore this. 

I have another install from dazstudio on an old computer and the menu is normal. I need this menu to add smoothing to old objects.

it is very silly, but can anyone help??

You can reload the default menus in Window>Workspace>Customise, or simplt reload your layout in Windows>Workspace>Select Layout.

My menu options disappeared. I can only see Tools and Windows. My Window menu only shows "Panes" option and nothing else. Also the software does not react to commands such as Ctrl+R (for rendering). Any help pls? I use Windows, insatlled daz studio some 3 months ago. Thanks!

If you can't see this to make a selection, I'd try rebooting the computer. Then if you still can't see anything, maybe reinstalling the program is in order?
