[So i'm guessing there's no way..] to set a keyboard shortcut for non-active-pose pinning? (the soft pin, i.e. right click and click pin translation or rotation). I've checked the customize dialog and see no option for it. Maybe missing something?
any help is appreciated.

If you click on a body part on a figure (hand, foot, toe, etc.) you should see a tiny thumb tack hovering above and to the right of it. Clicking this lets you pin the translation or rotation of the selected body part.
Right. Thanks. Unfortunately, I already knew that. What I'm looking for is a method of setting a keyboard shortcut for said menu items.
Again. sincerely appreciated. Esp from you. I've watched a few your videos in the past :D
Not sure what you mean, I would think you want to:
Window/Workspace/Customize (F3)
Lookup PowerPose/Pin, right click and set shortcut (I use SPACE key).
But maybe that's not what you are after ?
as far 'm aware of it's not possible to set a hotkey for pinning/lock hand, feet,...., as this is not coded by the devs.
also the pinning is not actually working well momently certainly not if you would start animate (shaky feet, hip rotation...).
Window - Workspace - Customize...under Actions scroll down and expand Inverse Kinematics.
AWESOME! thanks Ben98120000! And everyone else for your attention on this.
