Michael 4 Privates Transparent?

Computer crashed, lost runtime, I updated to 4516 with clean install, and now reinstalling stuff. Woe is me.

I now find problem with Michael 4 ...

His standard Daz genetalia brings with it its own diffuse colour, but when I apply a new genetalia mat (for example Mario) it applies ok but the genetalia figure becomes see through, not 100%, but considerably.

Upon rendering, all is ok, but it's a bit weird having almost transparent family jewels on Michael - a bit offputting while posing :-)

Can't say I ever saw this problem before with previous installs, and I have no clue what is causing it.

Any advice gratefully received.

There is probably a transparency map associated with it...and poser has a tough time reading it, so it makes the whole thing transparent.
    That happens all the time

If you are using DS and this is happening in the viewport, then it's a well known OpenGL issue...and there is nothing that can be done about it, as long as it renders correctly.

OpenGL has a problem with multiple/overlapping transparency maps. I've seen the issue even happen in games...

    Thanks, guys.

Yes, indeed, it was the transparency maps causing the problem ... never thought of that ...

    Regards
