And here I—a Canadian and a former baseball fan—thought baseball was the Great American Game. If so, it's dismally underrepresented here.
Sure, there's a diamond and a few bits and pieces that you could sort of hack into a vignette. But I haven't seen team uniforms, umpire getups, bat racks, dugouts, batter-and-pitcher poses, Willie Mays and slide-Kelly-slide-type poses, and all the rest that goes with the game. I can do without the chewing tobacco and spitoons.
And if I want an updated version of the legendary 70s-era Kissing Bandit, the resources for that are already available in superabundance (not that I'm complaining).

Not much of a market for it so kind of a loss of money and time to endeavor in such a project. Who knows though, someone may in the future do a comprehensive set.
This made me laugh out loud in real life, not the lame "lol" That's a good point Blind Owl and I was a little ashamed but then it occured to me, people that like to spend their free time in front of a computer making silly pictures maybe aren't the "sports" type
Hence the abundance of Sci-Fi and Fantasy material. But hey, I wouldn't say it's a bad idea. I'm sure some people would buy it. The PA probably wouldn't be able to pay off his/her house but hey...worth a shot!

Oh well, there's always beach volleyball (we wonder why).
Maybe it really is unpopular in this 3D art niche. There have been hockey, rugby, basketball, competitive swimming, soccer, American football clothing in the DAZ 3D and there is a Poser baseball/softball uniform at Content Paradise but I have yet to see even one render with those clothing sets that I didn't render myself. A look at the DAZ Gallery tells you what most people are rendering.

I'll have to necro this thread because I'm having the same issue right now. I'm doing a flashback scene in a visual novel and I was hoping to create a little league scene, or at least have a scene with father and son playing catch. There is a baseball diamond and nothing else. There's not even a baseball glove anywhere. If I want a bat I pretty much have to download a zombie survival package.

Baseball uniform as well as the shoes, the gloves, and the gear for a catcher (FOR MALE FIGURES, PLEASE).
Might be niche (really????), but no competition on the market.

I think that a complete Baseball uniform included in a bundle with poses or, better, with aniMate moves would sell a lot and there would be no competition.
