I'm really getting annoyed. I hope the program is half as easy as it is to install content. I've downloaded and installed daz 4.5 and i've used the daz installer to download the genesis starter essentials. However, when I try to load anything into daz from genesis it says there are files missing. I've read something about needing to install 14812_GenesisStarterEssentials_1.3_trx.exe but I've yet to have it explained where to get this from. is there anything that just explains how to straight up install genesis and get it working? they make such a big deal about genesis on the site and then barely explain how to use it. I've worked with blender and a lot of other highly complex apps and none of them are this big of a pain to just install a simple piece of content.

The default location used in Install Manager is different from the one used in DAZ Studio. Install Manager uses
    c:\users\public\documents\My DAZ 3D Library
    while DAZ Studio uses
    c:\users\[username]\documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library

In Install Manager you can change the install path by clicking on "Install to Where?" in the lower right of the "Ready to Install" tab.

In DAZ Studio you can change the path by going to Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager, then under "DAZ Studio Formats" add the new path and remove the old one, then do the same under "Poser formats".
