Creating new props in Zbrush with textures.

I've seen a few things about how to get Daz Studio assests into Zbrush with textures, but I haven't seen anything like the reverse. Right now I'm trying to make a superhero mask, texture it in Zbrush with polypaint,, and then somehow get it into Daz Studio with that texture intact. So far all I've been able to do is import the .obj with polygroups and turn those into surfaces. Which is ok, but it's limited.
I feel like there has to be a tutorial for getting them from Daz to Zbrush somewhere somewhere, but my google fu has failed me.
Help me random forum browser. You are my only hope.

Broadly, you need to UV map the model (if it isn't) and then use Polypaint to Texture to get a map. Export that, with the V axis flipped, and you can apply it to the exported OBJ in DS via the surfaces pane.
Hmm... So I'm doing it right, but the UV map isn't coming through for some reason. I'll investigate. Thanks for the reply.
