How can I get back to a 'normal' DS interface

I have no idea what has happened to my DS screen.  How can it be fixed?  I have uninstalled DS totally and also removed all relevant folders, including content as there was very little contant installed anyway.  But after reinstall the screen appears the same odd way ... a total mess! 

Any suggestions.

You collapsed the folder list - and unbinstalling/reinstalling doesn't remove settings (by design - you wouldn't want to have to redo them after every update). If that's the only issue, just click the different blick in the frame edge on the left, midway up what should show the files. To do a complete reset, Window>Workspace>Select layout.
