Deleting all keyframes except first one

edited December 1969 in Daz Studio Discussion

How do I delete all the key frames except the first one???

For example, I made my character and animated it runing, now I want to start over from the first frame and animate it walking.

Go to zero key frame .
    select genesis.
save as "proerty preset" In scene tab. it can save all properties of genesis on zero frame.

    after that, In scene tab,
click top root node (eg genesis) > right click then > select children.
it select all child node of genesis.

then go to poze (or parameter) tab, right click on tab or, click pane option (on top side ob tab, small square icon)
    >clear animation> Clear selected items .

it remove all key. after that you apply your saved "property preset" to genesis.

Thanks for your replies, I solved it the following way:

On the timeline panel I set Total to 1, then saved the scene, closed Daz Studio, opened it again and then I opened the file again, Voila! it got all keyframes deleted =)

  • oh man! I was looking for this answer thank u!

  • Finally a solution, thank you very much!!!

  • Wow! That's been plagueing me too, Hazeliel! This also works: Don't close DAZ. Just set the slider to 0, Set the range to 1, Save the file, Select File/New select Don't Save, reload the file...keys gone! Love it! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!

It bugged me for a looong time but I discovered that way of doing it too. I still think there should be a timeline option to clear or, better, to save a single frame as a scene (any frame). I logged a support request to that effect.
