Recognize CPU Only?

When installed the CPU only recognition in 4.9.4,  previous version such as 4.9.2 show my video card as GTX970 +CPU but the new version only show my CPU...

    You probably need to update your drivers - Check the Nvidia site rather than trust Windows

    I am using the latest drivers 384.94 without any problems

    His screenshot is of MacOS.
    Sounds like it may be some kind of driver issue.  maybe the GPU driver you are running does not support the current version of Iray?  Unfourtunately, I have no idea where to go for updated Mac Geforce drivers.

     I didn't notice the Apple on the screenshot & like the last poster I do not know anything about Mac Drivers :(

     If you are still having a problem perhaps add  "Mac Help" needed then the right people will look :)

  • Please don't post images with nude figures.

    You may also need to isntall the CUDA drivers, which for Macs are a separate download - you must have had a version for it to have worked before, I can't recall though if the minimum requirement has increased. However, if you have an older card it is possible that the newer version of Iray no longer suports it.
