Smart Content question - no data and poser items

So I typically use the Content Library, but I want to get an idea of what Smart Content does. I think it shows stuff based on the metadata that is made with that stuff.
So two questions:
- Why does mine show nothing? I tried re-import metadata and it thought for a while, and then this again
- Can I drag/drop poser stuff into this, or do I need to make metadata for every poser thing I want to add to this?
Thanks!

I think you've made it invisible, but there should be a small marked off rctangle hlaf way up the left edge of the top area, about on a level with or a bit below the NOTE: You may need to clear your keyword text. Click that to expand the category list, which is currently collapsed.
Yes, you can drag-and-drop.
OK, I found that if I changed it from Basic View to Standard View, I got a tree on the left. That''ll work for now.
I dropped a Poser item (Walrus) into it (creatures area) and it made a Icon called "LOCAL USER" with some default picture.
Basic View is apparently part of a different workflow layout (presumably like the beta Full Service layout) which deliberately hides sections of the UI to make the process simpler (for beginners, perhaps).
You can drag multiple items, I'm pretty sure you can't drag foldrs (if you want to categorise a whole folder or tree it's simplest to right-click on the folder in the Content Library pane and select Categorise).
