[SOLVED] Can't install Daz: Payload initialization failed :(

Hello, everyone

I downloaded the Daz 3D installer but when I run the installer I get this error message:

" Installer Payload initialization failed. This is likely due to an incomplete or corrupted downloaded file"

I have re-downloaded the installer with no success :(

It's version1.1.0.67 (the latest one available on the website) and also, I have 64-bit Windows 8 operating system ,but the file's name is "DAZ3DIM_1.1.0.67_Win32.exe" (dunno if that explains anything) .Plus running it as administrator still doesn't work

    Install Manager is always 32 bit, it doesn't need to be 64 bit for the work it does 9and 32 bit software works on 64 bit Mac/Windows). Have you tried downloading with a different browser? What security software are you using?

    I used Internet Download Manager for downloading ,it captures the downloads from the browsers. And I use ESET Smart Security 10 ,should I disable it?

    I disabled ESET ,but still the same problem persists :(

    Try downloading without the accelerator tool - in the past those have certainly caused issues with downloads from the site.

    Do you mean download it with the browser directly without IDM? 

     

    Also, I found that an Install Manager is required which is probably another software I should get?

    When you download DIM, yes.      DIM is the only install manager that Daz3D recommend.   Once you have downloaded and installed DIM   (That is Daz Install Manager)  then you can use DIM to download and install Daz Studio, and content.

    Ok ,but I'm still confused ... should I go with 1, 2 or 3 ?

    You need Install manager  (that is what is referred to as DIM,  Daz Install Manager)

    So forst download and install the Install manager,  and then you will be able to safely download and install Daz Studio, using the Daz Install Manager

    Edited to add that as you have experienced a corrupted or incomplete Download you should make sure that you have completely purged your browser cache before trying another donwload.  A corrupted download left in the cache will tend to make pruther downloads stall
