Iray Convergence Issues (resolved)

As far as I am aware, Iray renders finish when one of the following occurs:

  1. The maximum number of samples / iterations is reached
  2. The maximum time, in seconds, is reached
  3. The Iray convergence percentage is reached (default 95%)

My copy of Iray seems to think otherwise, it always ignores the convergence percentage and carries on rendering until the one of the other two thresholds is reached.  Am I correct in these assumptions?

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,

Alex.

In your picture, you had not reached 95% convergence.  The progress bar percentage is NOT the convergence.  Look in the scrolling text below it, you'll see every so often an update line that states (as in your picture):  "Iray:89.99% of Image Converged."

    Got it, thanks.
