Poser 9 or Pro 2010

I am currently using Daz Studio 4.5 and Poser 8 on my 64 bit Windows 7 system, but I am thinking about getting Poser 9 or Pro 1210 ( around $65 for either one) I know Poser 9 is 32 bit and Pro is 64 bit, but other than that ,what are the biggest differences. I see a lot about Poser 9 and Pro 2012, but not much about Pro 2010. Is there any problems with 2010? Any thoughts ?
Thanks

Poser Pro 2010 does not have weightmapping, so you cannot use Genesis or Native Poser wieghtmapped figures such as V4-WM or Miki 4. It also does not have Sub Surface Scattering. However, it does have a 64-bit version as you noted; the only other significant (to me!) differences between it and Poser 8 are render Gamma Correction, background rendering, and the plug-ins for more advanced 3D apps. Here's a feature comparison matrix...

If the 32-bit Poser 8 has been adequate memory-wise for your scenes, I'd get Poser 9. I myself use PP 2012, which can be gotten for $149 until the 31st.....

Thank you for the great information. The sale that going on now is for digital (download ) only.If I go that route, should I pay the extra for the 2 year download option? I had rather have the disk.
You should have a look at Amazon, it was on sale there cheaper than the digital download.
I burned the installation files to DVDs. PP2012 doesn't quite fit on one DVD per Mac/PC version, though...
As Anikad points out, Poser 9 is on sale at Amazon for $54.99. However, PP 2012 is $389...

I bought the Poser 9 on Amazon. Hope to have it by the end of next week. I rebuild/upgrade my PC every 18 to 24 months so its nice to have all the programs that I can on disk/dvd just in case there is a problem.
Thanks everyone for your help.

Great! You will enjoy it... :)
btw, they both are supposed to have subsurface scattering.
He's asking about Poser Pro 2010... ;)

I just got 2012, myself. I'm really looking forward to working with it.
