Import Manager problem RE: Not seeing update to dl list

I've clicked "Refresh" several times, restarted several times but it just WON'T see the items ready for download in my account that I reset...

I don't think the Install Manager looks at resets because it should have the latest version or you can get it through DIM itself.
If you want a fresh copy, find the file in DIM and delete it. It then should show up in Ready to Download.
If the file you want was supposed to be updated and you don't see it was, then you can file a bug report or whatever.
Thanks, but it is a fresh install of DIM (this am). My Anti-virus had a problem with the initial one last week saying compression on DIM file was too high and I let it quarantine it thinking it was the installer instead of the program itself. Err!
DIM doesn't care about resets to your available download list. In theory, everything you've purchased shows up in DIM. Except that it doesn't currently do carrara, bryce, or plugins.
If you've already downloaded an item you should see it as an update in the available for download list. If it doesn't show as an update, the update hasn't made it to the DIM server OR what you downloaded included the update.

35 hours later, and the reset items ready to dl STILL aren't recognized by dim. Why is file management perpetually a problem with DS? I thought dim was an answer to my 9 year problem for not finding assets, but it's just adding one more layer of frustration...
Resets are not relevant to DIM -- if the items are available they will show up. What items in particular are you waiting for?
To start, V4.2, Wasp, Station and cargo ship, shadow class fighter, sci-fi construction set...
Did you purchase V4.2 by itself or as part of a bundle?
Space Station and Cargo Ship is for Bryce, so it won't be available in DIM yet.
Wasp hasn't shown up for me yet, either.
Don't know about the others.
I got V4.2 in late 2010 not in a bundle. And the Wasp in early 2007. I have yet to make a single pic nor animation until dim came along, but it has problems too, I guess...

Is there some "Guide" you could point me to so I can dl and install and USE my items myself in DS 4.5?

The Bryce and Carrara stuff is not available at all in the DIM. No idea when so don't expect it soon.
I have some older stuff I've purchased over the years that still is not available in DIM and some of it not terribly old (in DAZ terms anyway).
You do know that you can download directly from DAZ? Go to your account and there should be a column on the left. Well, I think you know that anyway because you've already reset stuff I assume from your Item History which is there. But 'My Downloadable' products is there in the column as well. Click on that and grab the stuff you reset. You can install with those installers and be sure to tell it or allow it to create an uninstaller.
Then when, if, the product comes in via DIM you can manually uninstall then install with DIM instead.
The released version of DIM only covers DS/Poser content. Software, plugins, and content for programs like Bryce and Carrara can have additional requirements or procedures which DIM needs to know in order to install them properly -- for example, plugins need to be in specific locations for the application to see them. So those items won't appear in DIM yet.
As for DS/Poser content, just looking t my own purchases, about 10% is still not in DIM, 90% of the missing items are old items (SKU's below 5000), and I've been seeing a few dozen items added every few days, so I know they're still working on them.
