Why Daz Figures Automatically Change Position Upon Setting a Keyframe on Animate2?

Hey All,
Daz is an awesome tool and the models, scenes, animations you can make out of all the available packages is great and very fast compared to traditional animation software.
I am experiencing a strange issue, and my hunch is, it has some to do with the bounding boxes around a Daz figure/prop, etc. Here's what I'm doing:
- Create a New Aniblock while my Daz figure (e.g., Genesis 3 Male) is selected.
- On the time line, I enter the Keyframe mode.
- On Frame one, I set the position of my character next to another figure (e.g., Genesis 3 Female).
- I click on the Add keyframe button under the Animate2 tab as usual, but it shifts the character couple of points immediately. It's as if it snapped to a different position or changed its position to avoid a collision to the other character. I'm trying to make them hold hands btw.
So, I setup a null and made both characters the children of the null. It solved the problem, but the same issue happened again later in the timeline when I tried to change their poses to do something else.
Any idea why this is happening?
When I import the models in Maya and make them hold hands, no issues there. What's up with Daz?

bake the aniblock to the timeline
then add new keys
do not work in both
