an 8 version may happen though same with a reptillian 8 seeing as they skipped g3 probably wont be a centaur 8 probably be a 9 or 10 though but they may do some other human animal/creature hybrid maybe something like a harpy

But seriously, sphinx anything. And then a Blemmyes, and Scylla, and a fury; Cerberus should obviously join the party, if only to rush latecomers in. And... well, we just need about three heat-death of the universe man-hours of modelling and texturing to reasonably sate a mythology nerd's childhood dreams. Get moving, people!

A Cerberus was released by Sixus1 over at Renderosity.
Haven't found the one by Valandar, I guess it must be retired. The one by Sixus1 is very well done, as usual, but has a toonish twist that I don't quite enjoy in my mythological critters. Also, no snakes bursting from his back--a capital oversight.
And my rule was: if it appeared in Xena, it was a gross perversion of the original. Also, too PG for a proper myth--and not nearly as fun. Also also, not half as traumatizing, but my parents always believed therapists have a right to their livelihood.
As a side note, furries have a right to live and the image is not that sexualized (unless we are counting the bare udders, and I dearly hope we aren't). Also, see the previous paragraph.
I took a look. Valandar did the Chimera. The Cerberus I was thinking of was the same one by Sixus 1. I think I saw it very early after I wandered into this hobby. Can't remembr which market I bought it from. Could have been RDNA.

Sorry for the thread necromancy, but any ideas if an updated Minotaur is going to come out? Looks like an amazing model but I'd prefer one based on G3 or G8.
The G2 male has an amazing minotaur.
It's about the only thing I use G2 for. See below. Granted, there's a lot of morphs in there and some different horns and hair, and he isn't using his hooves today, but he's my goto minotaur for my "Taurhaven" world.
And yeah, I was disappointed there wasn't a minotaur for G1 and I don't particularly care for the G3 morphability and it might be nice to have a minotaur on G8 male, with it's improved detail and morphability. So I won't object to a G8 male minotaur, but the G2 one is OK with me for a long time yet. But I have absolutely no interest in a female minotaur.
Nothing has been announced. You could always try smiling sweetly at RawArt, though that would of course be a new take rather than an update to the old Daz Minotaur 6.

Well, I did think you'd done a minotaur but since people still seemed to think there was an opening in the stock market I doubted the memory.
heh...no worries....G8 has been around so long I even forget what characters I already made for this line...I have to go back and look it up all the time
