How to save in luxus?

When I say save and exit luxus saves nothing, I have entered at file name and a folder location in daz.
What am i doing wrong??

    Ok so in studio you have selected a folder location (I suggest that you create a new on that is called Luxus renders or some such) and you have named the file to be rendered something unique. Below that you should have render to: still image(current frame) selected and just below that have ticked image file. Do you have the render to engine selected as luxrender via luxus and a couple of steps down from that use Luxrender GUI? The GUI will let you see what is going on with your render and it will let you make some light adjustments and so forth.

    I'm pretty sure I've seen that asked and answered over in the main luxus thread. But I didn't fully grasp what they were saying so your best bet is asking them the question. Not to mention that the answer is somewhere in 70+ pages.

    According to Spheric Labs, he's planning on condensing that thread down to links for important info. Let's hope he does(or some kind individual).

    Be careful what you say when you make a statement in regards to helping someone with "beginner" questions when it comes to Luxrender someones bound to come up with a doozy so your advice to read that thread is a good one.

    The answer to the question I believe is to save as a PNG file(transparent Background), hope that helps.

    In the render settings there is a "PreMultiply" toggle toward the top...ON means Transperent Background

    Thank you!!! I don't know about anyone else but I kept looking for that in the LuxRender UI.

    Edit: Cool. I also see that Gamma setting that needs to be changed from 1.0 to 2.2 that I've been looking for in your image screen grab. Now, I guess I go back though the Lux threads with this location in mind instead of looking for these things in the LuxRender UI.

    It's really weird cause i don't got that option in Daz? Do you have an explanation on that???

    I am running DAZStudio_4.5.1.56_Win64

    Looks like you are running an old version of Luxus, what version have you got? The has been two updates since the original release.

    Just downloaded it and installed it again but got the same problem

    Sorry did not read well enough, Just downloaded luxus again and everything is fine :)

    No LUXUS has been updated I was meaning not LuxRender
