Hiro and Aiko

How are these character's names pronounced. In my head Hiro is either "Hero" or "He-ro" and Aiko is "Eye-ko" or "E-ko". Am I even in the ballpark?

Hiro = Hee-ro
Aiko = Eye-Ko

They're Japanese names, so you use the Japanese pronunciations.
