Converting Poses from old figures to new ones - ideal products?

I see a couple products and a freebie.

I have a large collection of Vicky 1 through 4, and Genesis 2 poses, and a moderate collection of M4 poses. I'm looking to get as much of thise 'forward' to Genesis 8 as I can.

What I see is:

https://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/g3-g8-pose-adjust-scripts/77430
G3 -> G8

G2 -> G3

V4 -> G1/G2

And nothing For M4.

Any suggestions on the best options?

How good are these products in general? Will I get good looking poses in the end?

Are there other better options somewhere else?

    If I'm not mistaken the V4->G1/G2 will also work with M4 , Zev0's are great I have them all  and they wok for the male poses too

  • I just tried out that Renderosity freebie on a random sample of G3F poses, ranging from pretty straightforward standing/walking to more complicated dancing/exercise type.

    It works almost perfectly for about 90% of the poses - excellent find, thank you.

    I did have to reset the y/z rotation or do some minor adjustment on some of them, but it fixed almost all the weird arms-pushed-thru-torso type problems perfectly.

    Definitely give it a go - even if it doesn't fix everything on the pose, it gets it close enough that only some minor tweaks are needed.

    For the pose converter from V4 to G1, it is not an exact conversion so if you need exact poses with arms or legs crossed, hands on hips, etc. with body parts touching exactly it is best to stick with poses designed for your figure.  However for poses where body parts aren't intersecting (or you only need a starting point and will be changing it anyway) it is super handy.
