Duplicate IDs were found...

in Daz Studio Discussion

Hello All,

Sometimes I get this message when I open a saved scene in DAZ Studio but after I click on OK my scene completely loads with no further issue. Could someone tell me what may cause this message?  (see attached screenshot)

    That's generally older (pre-DS 4.5) content. I do have a script to fix the basic content, though by now most things shold be updated at source. https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/740/daz-studio-4-5-fix-duplicate-ids-script/p1

    Thank you very much, Richard! I was wondering about this and since it did not cause any problems with the scene itself I just overlooked it. Thanks again!

    I have this error and I've tried to run the Duplicate IDs Script, but I still have it. Here's the log file [attached].

    My render turned out normally.

    Well, my files are refusing to upload right now. Here's part of the log file:

    ... a long list but same file. When I tried to run the script on it, got an error message referring me to the log file, so here's that part:

    ... as you can see, the log file makes no mention that I got an error on running the script. It is similar to the other poster's error.

    I don't think my script would check templates. Have you tried redownloading the product from your account? I'm pretty sure it would have been updated to fix the issue, I think I have the template set installed without getting the error.
