Emit one side only, then the light will emit on the "normals" side. However, since the normals are normally pointing outwards, you have to reverse the normals, and then it should work.

I used that primitive cube for the test.
Invert normals is an option with the Geometry Editor tool - select all of the polygons (right-click>Polygon Selection>Select All) then right-click>Geometry Editing>Flip Normals of Selected Polygon(s)
