That looks like reflection/blowout from too much light. What light setup are you using? I don't see any shadows?
On this particular scene i don't have any lights set up.
However i have the same issue in a sauna scene which is very low on lighting. I am unsure what the policy is regarding nude images so i can post a sample here. I do have to say it has the issue far less. But on her leg for excample there is a 'white line' i am trying to solve it by increasing the pixel samples but so far it had littel effect. The renders do look better though. ;)
Maybe i should play a little bit more with gamma correction.....
Eventually i will figure it out but the render time is starting to increase significantly. Still trying to find out what the best quality to renders per hour ratio is. (when you make a visual novel for example you realy need to pump out a lot of renders. So the render time should preferbly under 30 mins for a more complex scene. For a real complex scene that may be higher but not by much. There is one scene i made that i may need to tome down has it has 12/13 model in it. (yoga scene)).
Anyways i just found some interesting info and yesterday i found some scripts for rendering so i can play with that a bit.
What's your shadow rate setting in the render pane? If set too high you can have some artefacts like this. Try setting pixel samples to min 6x6 and lower the
shadow rate to 0.1! If that doesn't help it might be a problem with the skin texture. That seems likely as the white spots are only on the areas covered by skin,
as far as I can see from your render. And if you used progressive rendering try switch it off to see if the problem goes away.

Also, I can recommend AOA's Advanced Lights ro boost up things; they help reduce render compared to other lights, and if you aren't just doing a concept render, it helps making things look a bit less like a screenshot, while still giving you some nice shadows.
I've never experienced that behaviour when rendering in 3DL, would you mind posting your render settings?
I will try one more thing, Then i will give the lady a bikini and make a new render. the one im busy with now puzzles me more. I will then olso post my settings along with it.
Here is one with her in a bikini. Same position and same settings. It has become slightly better but still has the dots as you can see.
I do agree its strange its only on her skin. In a way i hope the skin texture is it however that would mean i have to redo all renders i did so far as she would look different. So first i like to see if i can solve it in a different way.
I also included my settings.
Please all suggestions are welcome.
EDIT: Just noticed a shader mdl file for 3delight for the nancy model. going to try that now see if that solves it.
EDIT2: The white dots are gone with the shader model but her feet are green :( (added a new screenshot) Since im not that far in with the renders i might just try and find a skin type from another model that looks good and is not showing any dots. At least i have a scene to test it in...
Yeah your render settings seem to be ok so it must be the skin texture I think.
It looks like something is wrong with the specular glossiness setting, try set the shader mode to plastic if not already, check so the
specular glossiness is not set too high, for skin I use about 65-80. Otherwise I don't really know? Good if you can get it to work by using
another skin;)
I used the Ronya skin (after trying a few out) Though it doesnt look as good it did solve the problem. Im really starting to regret buying an AMD card a few years ago. :)
The texture she was using was one for Iray so i guess that explains the strange behaviour. I will have a look at the stewardess as well as i feel this will be a similar issue.
I hate it was a texture issue but at least i found the problem. Thanks for all your tips and advise.
No problem:) It looked really odd, but since I don't use Iray I was a bit lost. Glad you figured it out, if you want to use that skin try to convert it by applying
the DS default shader for 3DL, that may solve the problem;)
