This is finally complete:) Re-did some of the HD details. This version now has master controllers added which can control all the vein details at once which you can tweak afterwards. Here are a few promos.

  • Another of my favorite products from you.  Can't wait.

    Looking forward to it!

    nice!

  • That's actually the only product which I don't find much usage for - although I might still buy it. Hope Fit Control is next on the list. That one I tend to use almost always.

Is it safe to assume that you can control how powerful the veins added are?  I'm assuming these pics are all with them dialed in a max, but we don't have to use them quite so well defined?

Yes. You can control how strong they are dialed in, either manually or via the new controllers which group dial them in. So if dialed low, they wont be as defined and bearly visible, but enough to add some detail.

Eeeexcellent.  That's what I thought, just wanted to make sure.  Thanks!

They work like any other morph when you dial in at different strengths.

These look like your best work yet!

Thank you for the extra discount for having the G3 version of Vascularity. It is greatly appreciated.

Hey there, I just bought it and have a question - what is the difference between the "Basic" and "All" Controllers? And yes, the extra discount was much appreciated!

"All" has more vein detail in it. Basic is simplified for more everyday characters. Set the figure to sub level 3 in viewport and dial up the All and then Basic of same morph to see comparison. You will see the differences. They can also be stacked if you wish.

    OK, I'll try that. Thanks!

I mentioned this over in  the thread over in the Commons, but I'll bring it up here as well.

I've never opted in on this product because, frankly, I don't particularly care about body builders and have no need to create any. However, it finally occured to me that this might be a good secondary product for creating old people, with their ropey veins? It might be nice if the promos would reflect that.

Of course the release schedule for this generation is against that, since the aging morphs aren't out yet, but it might be something to think of in the future. Or to add with notes to the aging morph promos.

Hmmm. Okay Aging Morphs is already packaged. I edited my previous post. To make those might be doable. I will see if it can be squeezed in. If not then via an update after release.

  • Any change of veins pngs that match up so we can add the blue tone to our translucency map?

Nope. Morph package only. If I add any extras, specially texture wise, that pushes up the price to add that as a feature, and I want to keep the price where it is. If you look at all the vein variations there is no simple way to make matching png's that cater for all possible dialed morph combinations.

  • pngs are stackable, you wouldn't create them for all combinations but for individual morphs. :\

It's no problem though, I'll bake my own.

I know they are stackable, I used a stackable system in SkinBuilder. The issue is setting them up properly in the shader to correspond with the morphs and to make it automated that it looks good on all skin common shader setups, tones for Iray and 3dl. Not all have the same translucency setups. That in itself setting up that entire system will basically push up the products price, resulting in less sales for an already niche product and honestly, not really that viable of a feature. If you can make your own then good. But it is not something I am interested in adding.

    Managed to add them in:)

  • I bought within10 min yesterday when i saw it in the shop [even before I got the G3 owner's discount message!). I really love this product. I use the veins at a low strength level typically, but still its essential for me to see characters as real. And skin builder is the other product. One gets such nice variation of skin and face with it! :)

This is awesome and in my cart. Kudos for including both genders for one low price. Really appreciated.

P.S. Extra discount did not hurt either.

Snagged! Thanks for the loyalty discount as well!

Wouldn't that be cool? But I can understand why they aren't. Maybe someone with mega-talent could create a product for this. In the meantime, you can do a lot with photoshop without needing to be really good at it.

Although I bought Vascularity for the G8s, the face below is G3F, using both Vascularity and Aging Morphs for G3 with the blue of the veins added in post. (The image links to the gallery page, if you'd like to see the full render.)

Wrath, Zoom In on Face, by L'Adair

In Photoshop, I added a layer of solid blue above and painted the veins in on the layer mask. That made it easy to add and remove until I had just the veins painted over. I then added some blur to the mask, and finally I set the layer opacity to about 20%. It took a little longer than the time needed to write this post.

    Greetings,

I was curious...does this add vascularity to the anatomical elements on G8M?

The G3M bits had their own HD morphs, although tbh they weren't all that great. Does the G8M offering not have anything?

Is there a texture overlay for the vein color?  Those veins have no green color.
