why is mirror reflection jagged?

I'm working with a mirror, and the reflection in the mirror is jagged, like it isn't being antialiased or something. What causes this and/or how do I fix this?

I could be wrong but for some reason I'm wanting to say that it means your shading rate is to low. I could be miss remembering though.
Could it be that your mirror surface isn't perfectly flat?
I could have written the same question a few days ago. Higher quality render settings didn't help. Then I changed the mirror textures and the jagging was gone...
You could try using another mirror texture or build one yourself with the help of tutorials here in the DAZ forums.
Shading Rate and X Y samples do play into this. Don't rule them out till you test a better Render setting.
Reflections are certainly more sensitive to shading rate than directly seen items - remember that lower is better, but slower, for shading rate.
Looks like Render > Render Settings > Shading Rate was it. In a quick test I randomly selected 0.1 instead of 1, and that made a difference. I'll play around with the render setting to find the most appropriate value.
(I also first tried creating a new primitive plane and making it reflective, that didn't change it, so in this case the original mirror surface settings weren't the problem.)
Thanks everybody!
Just want to jump in and say thanks too. This is the exact same problem I was having and the exact same fix worked :)
