Great render Dan, did you use the Surface Visible Light option in the Light Lab or Volumetric World option in the Sky Lab for the lights rays?

Thanks SRay. Nope, just a voumetric textured cube. The main chamges I made to your lights was the Range settings and turning off TA Optimazation. No surface visable lights or V-world were used. Here's the Mat Lab texture setup on the cube.

Dan Whiteside - awesome render love the spotlight effects,  thanks for the screenshot yes

    Horo - thanks

  • Thanks you mermaid010. The sane mat can be used for volumetric fog by changing the diffuse color to a gray shade or a sandstom effect by using a brownish-red diffuse.
