Is there a reason Midnight 8 skeleton installed by dim is just floating in the people directory and not located in the Genesis 8 Male directory? Its kind of hard to find... And yes I bought it, I can't resist skeletons! =-)

Yes it's a stand alone figure like the Midnight Skeleton so they couldn't be put in the G8M or G3M directory it's a QA requirement !

How strange... but okay... I'm going to move him into the G8M folder... Sorry...QA....  =-) Looks awesome by the way. =-)

  • Yes you should have any troubles, as it all looks in the data folder for the geometry anyway !

I love how versatile Midnight Skeleton is, and how well he takes poses. Prior to using this I used M4 skeleton and some poses made his legs and hands fly off...Well most did... Ha. This guy looks really great. Now I'm going to have to put some emissives in these eye sockets and see how sinister he can be!

  • Yes bones don't really have expression but I thought it would give it more character, thanks for the feedback !

  • I would have suggested showing more of the roots of the teeth, which would make it look more like a real skull. Also the eye sockets should be broader than they are high by default.

You're probably right and there may be more but it all had to fit within the limits and adhere to the joints bends of Genesis 3 and 8 male. So it was a juggling act.

Honestly, I wouldn't know any of this, and neither will 95% of the people who are going to use this.  For my purposes any way, its darn close to perfect as I don't necessarily want it to be exact.  And I totally appreciate the different eye sockets, I think they are wicked cool and add the to the scary factor.

Being able to use regular G3/G8 poses is so awesome!  I highly recommend these products!  My promos are going to be so much better.  Here are a few promos from something I submitted today using his skeleton products

The link is including the trailing quote mark - you can't post HTML into the WYSIWYG view, if you click the Souce button it may work bu - for obvious security reasons - not all HTML features are supported.

  • I'm a bit confused with this one I hope Josh can sort it out, just delete the last post Cheers

I think the suit is on death row at the moment, so the skeleton seems appropriate, I'm down to doing a hybrid rig which blends 2 different weight map systems:(

"HEY! Who turned out the lights!?"

    Looks great!laugh

And thank you for making a tail that fits to the figure's tail bone and NOT their belt! Finally, someone understands the concept of "anatomy"!!

Working with tails recently, it should be noted that a lot of people place tails higher up because it's a pain in the burro to design and rig a tail that low. It's not a lack of understanding, it's how many people want to do WAY more work for probably the same return.

As it is, I wanted a tail lower down, but I had to extensively design the rest of the body to work for it. And it's still not perfect.

    darn tails

Yes the bend lines rule all if you are doing geograph's. But attached ones, are and extension of the spine !
