can i have genesis 3 male and female loaded in more than one library?

i am working to separate all the diffenent content i have since it will make it easier for me to find and browse what i have. for example , all the people in one folder, all the plants and outdoor stuff in another, ect.

is this okay?

Do you mean install G3M in a "G3M library" and G3F in "G3F library"? Or do you mean having the same base figure installed multiple times in several libraries?

The first one would work (providing you install manually or with DIM, there's only one library for Connect), the second one could cause conflicts.

Another way would be to use Categories and/or Smart Content to organize all that.

  • The safest way is to reorganize your content library. The library items can be moved to any location within the library root; eg. C:/Users/Public/DAZ 3D/Studio/My Library/*custom_directories*

Simply reorganizing the library makes finding content easier and keeps with the user agreement of 1 working copy. New content would be installed to its respective default location, so additions to your collection would have the additional step of relocating within your custom organization.

I use seperate libraries for everything. All g3f in one library, all g3m in another library, all g8f an another one etc etc.
